Privacy notice

EAD (“we”) sells wigs, installation and aftercare services, and press-on nails. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. Customers abroad keep any additional rights their own law gives them.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, delivery address.
- Order and booking details: products, services, dates, notes such as head measurements or hair preferences.
- Payment confirmations from our payment processor (amount, reference, status). We never see or store full card numbers or Mobile Money PINs.
- On this website: your bag and currency choice are kept only in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us until you choose to share an order summary.
Why we use it
- To take, fulfil and deliver your order or booking, and to send you a video of your unit before dispatch.
- To provide aftercare and answer your questions.
- To keep accounting and tax records required by law.
- To send news or offers only if you have asked to receive them; you can stop at any time.
Health-related information
If you book a private fitting for hair loss or a medical hair need, anything you tell us is used only to fit your unit, is seen only by the stylist serving you, and is never used in marketing. Photographs of you are taken or shared only with your written permission.
Who we share it with
Payment processors (such as Flutterwave and mobile network operators), delivery and courier partners, and our accountant, each only as needed. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records for the period tax law requires (generally six years); booking notes for as long as you are a client, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use for marketing. Contact us on WhatsApp or by post at P.O. Box 4190, Kampala, Uganda. You may also complain to Uganda’s Personal Data Protection Office.
Security
This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and does not use advertising trackers.
